looks like plaza singapura is the hot place for celeb spotting... i have spotted celebs either chilling out or filming there eight out of ten times and in consecutive weekends somemore!!!



and once again it's so normal for me to be posing with them... hahaha...

perhaps the only way to enhance the image of the saf is to create public awareness of how good the army is... hence the hoo-ha about the 17th mindef pride day...

even sp has it publicised on their website... shows how important it is huh... sometimes even their own news does not get so much publicity man... excuse me, is it part of agenda setting?



it's a time where they show off their best for the public to see... and sometimes in public you can see how cheeky drivers can be...

what can be more relaxing than chilling to music, lying on the bed with a 475ml tub of coffee flavoured haagen dazs ice cream?

love the ice cream in slightly melted style... dig up a blob, excavate it from the spoon and it dives into your mouth!! slowly and surely, the creamy ice cream melts and glides down your throat...

the only thing that i'm afraid of is that i'll finish the whole tub!!

just dug out my secret box from my drawer to relive some memories... a lot of secret stuff inside man!!



some stuff includes move ticket stubs and very old coins and notes...

[nightlife]
kindof trying to do night shots these days... and it is all about experimenting...

was at cream at pacific plaza and borders cafe yesterday for dinner and dessert respectively... and just shot and shot along the road... wonder if anyone thought i was crazy.... or even assumed that i was a traffic police trying to catch speedsters along scotts road...



seems like a time to chill out until my results are announced.... and keep myself relaxed till the next round of exams...

[sai kang]
ever since the last outcamp run at changi village, i told myself not to keng and not run...

and although transport is provided for the sai kang party, i didn't volunteer to help out and decided to run 5km even with my current excused status...



and garang as i am, i completed the run... although many others were in front of me, it was just so satisfying to finish the run...

then our department headed to the new 440 seater mc donalds at west coast park... and my my my... their service needs brushing up... maybe a pr company can help them boost their image...



i guess everyone enjoyed the run just as much... well, maybe not... hehe...

[servicing]
servicing is one of the many jobs technicians do.... and i'm currently still trying to complete servicing for the month of may... for the past two days, eod equipment and cbre capabilities were on display for some big shot french general... other than that, life has been pretty smooth flowing...

also caught the movie troy last week and i was kindof like dozing through the show... tired lah...

some words of advice from sgt elvin: friends in camp may not be what they are outside camp... they may have split personality... so beware...

[orchard stroll]
just an ordinary afternoon stroll along orchard and you'll find many news people around... caught gregg and gang in a photo shoot together with the new paper photographers outside heeren and diana ser and the channelnewsasia team outside lucky plaza...



then it was off to takashimaya for lunch with the lad guys... and then to zhihao's place...



kindof like a sports day as we engaged in table tennis, pool and swimming all of which i sucked at... however, it was all in good sport... then we headed up to his house for a breathtaking view...

finally it was off to n.y.d.c at holland village where we had our dinner and chilled out at coffee bean...

[new phone]
seems like everything is going to be new these days... spend the whole day moving to our so-called new office...

and that was done just after a seven click run!!! tiring sia!! even now, my legs are aching but the pain is still bearable... and did i say that i'm on excuse?? keke...

plus when logging into blogger, a new outlook greeted me... and you can check out my new handphone a sony ericsson Z200.... cool man!!

hsbc has its way of keeping the time for commuters and tourists!!

[a splashing good time]
caught van helsing today... actually, i wasn't prepared to watch it... just an impromptu act when tiger asked me to go catch it with him....

anyway... no regrets man.... kudos to the storyline that blends in all the characters... and cool cinematography complete with the special effects... plus, it was a splashing time at bugis too!!



then we were off to holland village for dinner.... and then to wala-wala to chill out with kelvin... must say that the live band was pretty impressive... and they got members of the audience to strut their stuff on stage... haha... two guys were even invited to strip for the cheering audience!! no prizes for guessing whether they eventually did the full monty or not....



when the clock struck 11 we left wala-wala and headed to borders and then to starbucks for a dose of coffee.... kindof happening...

a good night's rest, a good night's sleep... a good night full of sweet sweet dreams...

[exams done]
lame but true.... received a call to go down for an interview for a marketing executive in a financial firm.... haha.... and that's all....

finally after a three-day hiatus from camp to study for my exams, i shall have to go back to camp tomorrow.... and boy, the exams were great.... can clear my brain liao!!! out comes all the memorised stuff... haha....

went to sp after the exams and yes, a new editor is on board.... our third editor in three years.... however, one thing still remains unchanged.... i am still around... hehe....

wonder why... actually, no lah... i have changed.... my writing has improved.... and i tried new stuff and perhaps got my teeny weeny break....

now now now... when will something BIG come up??

it's actually the people behind the scenes in studio 4 filming for the channel 8 tv serial double happiness....

how can one claim to be in the media industry if he hasn't been to sph, the big brother in the print industry?

at sph, we met up with streats sub editor and broadcast journalist steve dawson and picked up a tip or two....



shhh! not so loud.... a good thing that it's still a tad too early for the news broadcast... that's why we can visit the news studio too.... and the editing suites, the recording suites... and blah blah blah...
